Overview
Lead the forward design and R&D of micro, high-load ball screw pairs for humanoid robots; overcome key technical challenges in high load capacity and low friction at small scales.
Responsibilities
"1. Forward Design: Lead R&D of micro, high-load ball screw pairs for humanoid robots, including thread parameter optimization, returner structure design, and preload/rigidity matching.
2. Performance Breakthroughs: Conquer key metrics such as high load capacity, low friction, low noise, and long life in compact sizes under high-frequency start-stop and impact loads.
3. Process & Testing: Collaborate with process teams on grinding, whirling, cold extrusion, etc.; build comprehensive ball screw test platforms (temperature rise, efficiency, stiffness, life).
4. Innovation: Research new materials (ceramics, special bearing steels), new lubrication methods, and special surface treatments to improve transmission efficiency and wear resistance.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with motor, reducer, encoder, and control teams to complete integrated actuator design."
Requirements
Expert in ball screw kinematics, dynamics, and contact mechanics; proficient in KissSoft, Romax, or in-house tools for thread profile optimization; familiar with failure modes and countermeasures; mastery of precision machining and inspection methods; understanding of humanoid robot transmission requirements; problem-solving mindset and self-driven; English for technical literature and communication
Preferred Qualifications
Successful mass-production experience of ultra-miniaturized ball screw nut pairs (diameter ≤12mm); patents related to adjustable preload, silent, or sensor-integrated ball screws; familiarity with mainstream humanoid robot actuator schemes
Language Requirements
English for technical literature reading and communication
